Common questions

What are good journal prompts for beginners?

Start small. "What took most of my energy today?" or "What is one moment from today I want to remember?" Pick the "My day" topic for more like these.

What are shadow work prompts?

Shadow work prompts help you look at the parts of you that you hide or push away, like jealousy, anger or the need to please. They ask what those feelings protect and what they need.

Is shadow work safe to do alone?

Gentle prompts are fine for most people. Go slowly and stop when you need to. If old pain comes up strongly, a therapist can help you work with it safely.

How often should I journal?

A few minutes most days helps more than a long session now and then. One prompt is enough.
